Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simhan is a film directed by Priyadarshan, the film is said to be Priyadarshan's dream project. The film is produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas and co-produced by Santhosh.T.Kuruvilla and Dr. Roy C.J. This film is said to be the most expensive film in Malayalam film industry till now with a budget of 100 crores.

  The main character of the film Kunjali Marakkar IV is starred by Mohalal. The other casts of this film are Manju Warrier as Zubaida, Keerthi Suresh as Aarcha, Suniel Shetty as Chandroth Panicker, Arjun Sarja as Anandan, Prabhu, Nedumudi Venu, Mukesh as Zamorin of Calicut / Samoothiri, Siddique,Suhasini Maniratnam, Fazil as Kuttiyali Marakkar / Kunjali Marakkar I, Jay J. Jakkrit as Chiang Juvan / Chinali, Renji Panicker, K. B. Ganesh Kumar, Innocent, Santhosh Keezhattoor, Hareesh Peradi, Arjun Nandhakumar, Baburaj, Ashok Selvan, Max Cavenham as André Furtado de Mendonça, Toby Sauerback as Francisco da Gama, Nandhu, Mamukkoya, G. Suresh Kumar, Shiyas Kareem, Krishna Prasad, Harish Siva, Pranav Mohanlal as Young Kunjali Marakkar IV (Guest appearance), Kalyani Priyadarshan (Guest appearance). The film is shot extensively in Ramoji City, Hyderabad. 

 This film will be released on 26 March 2020.
