Joaquin Phoenix wins his first-ever Oscar award for the best actor for the role of joker in the movie Joker.

This is the fourth time Joaquin Phoenix has been nominated for an Oscar and this is the first time ever Joaquin Phoenix received the Oscar.

The role of Joker from the movie Joker which was released on October 4, 2019, was done brilliantly by Joaquin Phoenix, So, the 2020 Oscar for best actor was expected to be award to Joaquin Phoenix and it happened as expected the other nominees for the Oscar for best actor in Oscar 2020 was Jonathan Pryce (The Two Popes), Antonio Banderas (Pain and Glory), Leonardo DiCaprio (Once Upon a Time in Hollywood), Adam Drive (Marriage story).

The 34-year-old Bollywood actor and television star Sushant Singh Rajput has committed suicide on Sunday 14 June 2020.
